Chicago - The Chicago White Sox are said to have one of, if not the, best starting pitching rotation in the majors this year.

Great arms, big hearts and a bald head. Patrick Elwood just returned from spring training in Arizona with the latest edition of our St. Baldrick’s FOX Chicago schools challenge.

Elwood hooked up with Sox pitchers John Danks and Gavin Floyd to raise money and awareness in the fight against kids’ cancer.

Once again, Danks shaved his head and got an assist from his buddy Floyd. Danks has a cousin who was diagnosed with pediatric cancer a few years back. Cooper is his name. The good news is he's beating it.

"Gavin and myself, we want to do everything we can to help and this is a great way. We're very excited about the kids too in school. Go out and shave your heads and come out and root us on," said Danks.

This is the second year Danks has been brave and gone bald. The Sox organization has been a strong supporter of Patrick's St. Baldrick’s FOX Chicago schools challenge. Every student who shaves his or her head will once again get two free tickets to a Sox game this season.

Proving once again together we can make a difference -- the money raised goes to area hospitals for critical research and protocol methods.
