This mom has a job and a husband, 2 kids and a dog. And now an extra set of hands that help her get a grip on the day.
Danielle Wiley let her two sons help sort through profiles on a website called sittercity dot com. She says: "I love the photos when the sitters show pictures of themselves with dogs they watch children they've watched."
The website lists more than a million profiles of home care helpers in more than 30 U.S.cities. It's the brainchild of a woman who says it came to her when she saw a nine- months pregnant woman posting help wanted signs.
Genevieve Thiers is CEO of Sittercity.com.
She says: "It's the kind of business idea that makes busy moms wonder what took so long? It's a website that can save them time and money."
Caregivers join for free, but they have to provide a background check and personal references. The parents pay 40 dollars to join, then 10 dollars a month or $95 a year.
Thiers says: "Parents can go to the site. They can instantly screen and they can find the perfect match.
Danielle says she hired a woman five days a week to help her with the kids, walk the dog and even tidy up around the house. One person consolidating three jobs and saving her money.
Users can find help with children, pets, housekeeping, eldercare and even tutoring.
Danielle is in her 3rd year of using Sittercity and loves being able to find a last-minute babysitter with the click of a mouse.
She says: "It can seem like a crisis when a babysitter cancels so having the ability to log on find someone with the click of my mouse who has great references who has high ratings ..has a background check, it's invaluable.
