Fox Exclusive: Dillard to Run for Gov

Saying he's fed up with the way the government is being run in Springfield, Illinois Senator Kirk Dillard (24th District) today told Fox Chicago News exclusively that he is in the race for governor next year.

He said his experience shows that he can work with members of both parties and he knows how to get things done.

Before his legislative career which started in 1993, he served as Chief of Staff for Governor Jim Edgar.

A resident of Hinsdale, he is married with two daughters.
