Chicago - The Cook County Board has approved a new budget for next year that includes no new taxes.
The budget totals $3 billion and includes the cut in the county sales tax approved earlier this week.
The board makes up the lost revenue from the tax by not filling vacant county jobs.
There will be $13 million in cuts to the county health budget.
The board rejected a proposal by president Todd Stroger to create a county film office to bring more hollywood productions to the area.
