    Chicago - State Rep. Art Turner has picked up some high-powered support for his bid to be the Democrats’ lieutenant governor nominee.

    Mayor Daley is throwing his support behind Turner.

    Scott Lee Cohen beat Turner in the Feb. 2 primary, but Cohen dropped out after revelations about troubles in his personal life .

    Turner came in second, and that's why the mayor says he deserves to be the nominee.
