The Jimmy John's delivery was fastest, but in this case that was not a good thing. An unknown woman apparently called multiple restaurants to deliver food to a fake address in order to steal a delivery person's vehicle.

According to a Valparaiso, Ind., police report, a woman using the name Caley or Kailey called Jimmy John's, Domino's and Pizza Hut from a Porter hospital waiting room in the labor and delivery department. She asked to have food delivered to 1204 Chicago St., Apt. 3, with a 15-minute delay.

The delivery man from Jimmy John's was first to arrive at 11:30 p.m. Friday at 1205 Chicago St. He found a woman sitting on the concrete wall in front of the building and asked where to find the other address.

She told him it was on the other side of the building, but when he came back from looking for the nonexistent address, the woman was driving away in his white 1998 Ford Taurus. He had left the door unlocked and the keys in the glove box.

Immediately after, delivery people from the other two restaurants arrived looking for the same address.

The woman was described as in her early 20s with shoulder-length blond hair. She is about 5-foot-6 and 150 pounds, and was wearing a light-colored hooded sweat shirt.
