Chicago - A website is claiming to have gotten video of the car accident that left extra Gabriela Cedillo badly injured on the set of the movie Transformers 3, but there is some doubt as to whether it is the actual crash.
The website RadarOnline.com isn't saying how it obtained the footage.
It shows a white car, which they claim was being driven by Cedillo. It crashed into a median on the Cline Avenue extension in Hammond, Ind.
Later, you can see the accident debris on the road, as a camera-mounted vehicle passes by.
Police think a cable snapped during the filming and went through the windshield of Cedillo's car.
The 24-year-old is still in the hospital now, after undergoing brain surgery.
There has been no word from the makers of Transformers about the footage. The studio has said it was a freak accident.
A person saying they were another extra called FOX Chicago News to say that the video was actually taken the day before Cedillo’s accident, and the car seen crashing is not her car. All extras signed confidentiality agreements and asked to remain anonymous.
