Van Crashes into Zion Theater

Chicago - The Dunes Theater in north suburban Zion was closed Sunday after a van struck the front entrance, but it was expected to be back open Monday.

Zion Fire Department Lt. Justin Stried said that three people were taken to Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan after responding at 3:50 p.m. for an accident at the theater at 3398 Sheridan Rd. in Zion.

The van hit the building, but no one was trapped in the vehicle. Information from police was not immediately available.
