River Grove Woman Burned in Home, Dies

Chicago - A woman has died Wednesday night after a fire at her home in west suburban River Grove, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Patricia Populorum, of 8260 O’Connor Dr., was pronounced dead at 10:37 p.m. Wednesday at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital in Melrose Park, according to a spokeswoman for the medical examiner’s office.

Populorum was burned in her home, according to the spokeswoman.

An autopsy is scheduled for later Thursday.

River Grove police and fire were not immediately available.
