Chicago - Late night Red Line commuters should allow extra travel time this week as construction is expected to cause minor delays.
Red Line trains in both directions will operate on the same track between the North/Clybourn and Lake stations from 10 p.m. Sunday until 4 a.m. Monday while crews perform maintenance, according to the CTA’s website.
The work will continue the between 10:30 p.m. and 4 a.m. the next four nights, ending early Friday, the CTA said.
During those times, passengers must board and exit all trains on the Howard-bound side of the platform at the Clark/Division, Chicago and Grand stations, according to the CTA.
Minor delays are expected, and the CTA advises customers to allow extra travel time.
