An 11-year-old girl, who said she was sexually assaulted by three unknown males Wednesday night in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side, is now being questioned by police.

The criminal sexual assault allegedly occurred in the 5800 block of South Morgan Street at 8:40 p.m. when she said three unknown males sexually assaulted her, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.

The girl said the suspects were allegedly in a black van and that they took her to an alley where all of them allegedly raped her, police said.

After talking to the girl a couple of times, Chicago police said her story is changing, and they are continuing their investigation.

The child was treated and released from University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital, according to Alfaro.
