Lee Dewyze of Mt. Prospect Makes It To American Idol Final Three

Mt. Prospect, Ill. - On Wednesday night, Mt. Prospect native Lee DeWyze made it to the "final three" on American Idol. That means he's going to get a rousing welcome home in the Chicago area on Friday.

DeWyze will start his day at FOX Chicago News as a guest on Good Day Chicago. He's scheduled to arrive at 7am or so. American Idol fans are welcome to come to our plaza at Michigan and Lake to greet him.

After his appearance on Good Day Chicago, DeWyze will visit radio stations for live interviews and he'll also be stopping by an AT&T store.

He's going to throw out the first pitch at the Cubs game at 1:20pm at Wrigley.

He'll visit a school and a paint store before he races back to Mt. Prospect for a 4:30pm cruise along Northwest Highway between Route 83/Main Street and Central Road.

On Friday night, he'll be giving a concert at Arlington Park Racetrack. The three-song performance should begin around 6:30pm. There are no more free tickets available; the 30,000 free tickets that were available for this concert were snapped up in just 12 minutes on Wednesday night.

If you want to go to the races and stay for DeWyze's performance, you can buy tickets . These ticket holders will be allowed to stay in their seats for the free show.
