Chicago - The Reverend Jesse Jackson is calling for a boycott of BP.
He led a group of protesters outside a South Loop BP station Monday.
Jackson and the head of the Illinois Sierra Club are accusing the oil giant of hiking prices at the pump to pay for the gulf spill.
“Those of us here in Chicago, we know as we talk who is going to pay for cleanup that we have been paying here in Chicago the price for energy policies that rely on big oil,” said Jack Darin, Director of the Illinois Sierra Club.
Jackson called for a boycott of BP in 2006 over hiring practices.
He plans to hold another demonstration on Friday.
