FOX Chicago Fox Chicago had a tremendous night at the 2008-2009 Chicago/Midwest Emmys, sweeping the investigative categories and winning 10 Emmys overall, more than any other station in the region.

NOMINATIONS
Our 9 p.m. newscast was nominated for 20 regional Emmy Awards for Outstanding Achievement Within A Regularly Scheduled News Program.
That’s more 2009 nominations than any other news station eligible to participate in the Chicago/Midwest chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. (WMAQ had 11 nominations in the top news categories this year, WGN had 10, WLS had 6, and WBBM had 0.)
The awards were handed out Sat., Nov. 7, at the Park West Theater in Lincoln Park.
Among our nominees were FOX news anchors and reporters: Lauren Cohn, Amy Freeze, Jeff Goldblatt, Dane Placko, Robin Robinson and Mark Saxenmeyer.
