Riverside, Ill. - A Cicero man was arrested for public indecency after allegedly exposing himself to a jogger in Riverside Sunday as he pulled over to ask for directions.

Jesus A. Navejar, 24, was arrested Monday and charged with one count of public indecency, according to a release from Riverside police.

Police received a 911 call at 11:08 a.m. Sunday from a woman claiming a man in a red Chevrolet Blazer pulled up beside her while she was jogging to ask for directions, according to the release. When she approached the SUV, he exposed himself and drove off.

Authorities tracked down the SUV at the registered owner’s address in Cicero based on the woman’s description of the vehicle and its license plate, the release said. Navejar was arrested after his mother, the vehicle’s owner, said he had the car during the time of the alleged incident.

Navejar was then turned over to the Brookfield Police Department and may face similar charges for an alleged exposure incident in Brookfield earlier Sunday, according to the release.

Riverside and Brookfield police are investigating.
