Chicago - Swindling millions of dollars from investors is bad enough, now prosecutors say David Hernandez is faking having cancer to avoid prison.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times , Hernandez was arrested Thursday after emailing the feds a fake doctor's note claiming Hernandez is undergoing months of cancer treatment.

His doctor denies writing the note, saying Hernandez doesn't even have cancer.

Prosecutors will now try to have Hernandez's bond revoked.

He pleaded guilty earlier this year to cheating hundreds of investors and diverting the stolen cash to Webio Sports Radio.
