Chicago Breaking News - A 14-year-old boy was shot in the South Side's Woodlawn neighborhood Monday night.
The shooting happened about 8:10 p.m. on the 6500 block of South Kenwood Avenue, according to police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala.
A boy, 14, was sitting inside a house when he looked outside the window and saw three offenders. The offenders fired shots into the house, hitting the boy in his right arm, according to a Grand Crossing District lieutenant.
The boy was taken to Comer Children's Hospital at the University of Chicago Hospitals in good condition.
No one is in custody.
Wentworth Area detectives are investigating.
