Chicago - A woman was hospitalized for psychiatric evaluation Friday morning after she threw a brick through a window of WGN radio' studio at the Tribune Tower on Michigan Avenue.
About 10:50 a.m., police responded to the WGN studio at 435 N. Michigan where a woman apparently broke a window with a brick, according to News Affairs Officer John Mirabelli.
The woman was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for psychiatric evaluation and it was unclear why she decided to break the window.
Unconfirmed dispatch reports said the woman sat down in the street in front of the building after tossing the brick.
The woman and a responding officer sustained minor injuries in the incident, Mirabelli said.
