Reward Offered for Jewelry Theft at Nursing Home

Naperville, IL - A $1,000 reward is being offered for information in the theft of three gold rings from an elderly woman at a west suburban nursing home.

Naperville Crime Stoppers is offering the reward for information about the three rings, which were last seen Dec. 8 and discovered missing from the woman’s hand on Dec. 9, according to a city of Naperville release.

The victim, a resident of Manor Care Nursing Home at 200 Martin Ave., was wearing the rings -- a yellow gold engagement ring with a .5 carat or larger diamond surrounded by smaller diamonds; a yellow gold anniversary ring with row diamonds; and a yellow gold wedding band with diamond chips.

Anyone with information should call the Crime Stoppers hotline at (630) 420-6006. All callers may remain anonymous and are eligible for the reward if their information leads to an arrest.
