Minooka, IL - One truck driver died this afternoon in a chain-reaction truck accident along I-80 in Minooka. State police say a truck hauling steel plowed into the rear of another truck carrying corn, touching off the chain-reaction. The driver hauling the steel died but has not yet been identified.
East-bound I-80 traffic is being re-routed. As of five pm, authorities believed it would take another three-to-four hours to clean up the scene and reopen the interstate.
