Chicago - Cook County is getting a chunk of federal grant money to help fight obesity.

The county is getting $16 million from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

Forty percent of kids and 64 percent of adults in Cook County are either obese or overweight.

The Cook County Health Department says the number of overweight people in the county is higher than the entire population of Montana.
