Chicago - Prosecutors rested their case against Calvin Boender , the real estate developer charged with bribing former Ald. Isaac Carothers to get a zoning change.

On Monday, Boender's attorneys indicated they will not be calling Mayor Daley or several aldermen as witnesses.

They wanted to show that there were politicians like the Mayor who had no corrupt dealings with Boender.

In an unusual twist, one of Boender's former defense attorneys, Dan Reidy, was forced to testify against Boender, who he once represented.
