(MYFOX NATIONAL) - Phillip Garrido, a registered sex offender who has been charged with kidnapping and sexually assaulting Jaycee Lee Dugard, rambled about his ability to "speak in a tongue unknown to the medical field, scientific world and the public in general" on his blog, telling people that you could hear it through a box that he possessed.

One of Garrido's business associates, Deepal Karunaratne, signed a "declaration of affirmation" that was posted on Garrido's site at VoicesRevealed.blogspot.com , acknowledging that had "clearly demonstrated the ability to control sound with my mind and have developed a device for others to witness the phenomenon." CNN indicated that all of the signatures on those declarations appear to have been falsified.

Kurunaratne told Fox News on Friday that he had heard Garrido talk about religion and hearing voices through the box, but dismissed a lot of his talk as "crazy."

"He talked a lot about the Bible. The last three years he's been talking about talking to angels," he said. "He kept on bugging me all the time about this box and asking me to wear it. And one day, because he was pushing me so much, I wore it and I kind of heard some noises and that's it. After that, I gave it back to him.

"All I can remember is it was something like headphones that you wear. And then he was holding something in his hand and something like that, if I'm correct."

Garrido's blog has been flooded with comments from people disgusted with what he allegedly did to Dugard. "When the voices tell you to kidnap and rape children, it's not God. It's your own criminal self, Mr. Garrido! I hope you rot in jail and burn in Hell," wrote dejablues. Added Rebecca , "I hope God and you can continue your unique conversation in prison."

Garrido told Sacramento TV station KCRA about how the church that he started, God's Desire, had impacted his life and Dugard's time with him. "What's kept me busy the last several years is I've completely turned my life around," Garrido said. "And you're going to find the most powerful story coming from the witness, the victim -- you wait. If you take this a step at a time, you're going to fall over backwards and in the end, you're going to find the most powerful heart-warming story."
