Chicago - Six people leaving an Englewood nightclub were wounded during a Sunday night gang-related shooting on the South Side.

Police said a group of adults leaving a nightclub were traveling in a van in the 6500 block of South Damen Avenue when another vehicle approached and somebody inside opened fire, striking six adults in the van.

Fire Media Affairs spokesman Joe Roccasalva said seven people were hospitalized. Two people were taken in critical condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, two people were taken in critical condition to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County and three people were taken in serious-to-critical condition to Holy Cross Hospital.

All the victims are expected to survive, police said.

The shooting appears to be gang-related, according to police.

Wentworth Area detectives are investigating, but nobody is in custody Monday morning.
