Chicago - Bond was denied Thursday for a man who turned himself into police after allegedly shooting his girlfriend to death.
Robin Davis, 39, was shot in the head during an argument with her boyfriend in the 5600 block of South Perry Avenue about 1 a.m. Tuesday, police said.
Davis was pronounced dead at her home at 5602 S. Perry Ave., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
Her boyfriend, identified as Ronnie R. Ward, 29, initially fled, but turned himself in to Wentworth Area detectives later that day.
Ward is charged with first-degree murder. He was denied bond on Thursday and will appear for a preliminary hearing on Feb. 14, Cook County State’s Attorney’s office spokesman Andy Conklin said.
