Chicago - A man was seriously injured during an early Friday shooting on the West Side.
Police found the man shot on the sidewalk at 224 N. Kolin Ave. about 12:20 a.m., police News Affairs Officer JoAnn Taylor said.
The man, in his 20s, was taken in serious condition to Mount Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg, Taylor said.
Circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately known, police said.
Harrison Area detectives are investigating, but nobody is in custody Friday morning.
