Chicago - Police are seeking a gray colored Toyota Camry involved in a shooting that left a man hospitalized early Tuesday in the Washington Park neighborhood on the South Side early Tuesday morning.
At 2 a.m., police responded to a 34-year-old man shot twice in the leg at 307 E. Garfield Blvd., according to police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro.
The Garfield Boulevard address is nearby the Garfield stop on the Green Line.
Officers found the man shot on the sidewalk and he was taken to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital in "stable" condition, Alfaro said.
No one was in custody as of 3:30 a.m. according to Alfaro.
The suspect may have been driving a gray or silver Toyota Camry, police said.
Wentworth Area detectives are investigating.
