Cicero, IL. - One man is dead and three other males were injured during a gang-related knife fight Sunday afternoon in west suburban Cicero.

Emergency crews responded about 1 p.m. to stabbing in an industrial area in the 6100 block of West Cermak Road, according to Cicero spokesman Elio Montenegro.

Adiel Guzman, 26,  Cicero, was pronounced dead at 4:51 p.m. at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.

Two other males were also taken to Loyola Medical Center and one male was taken to MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn where he was treated and released, Montenegro said. Ages of the wounded were not immediately available.

Police learned that a gang fight between the Latin Kings and Ambrose started in an unidentified location and ended with four alleged gang members being stabbed, Montenegro said.

Detectives are investigating whether a chase preceded the stabbings and are interviewing witnesses Sunday afternoon, according to Montenegro.

Cicero police are conducting a homicide investigation, but nobody is in custody Sunday night. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday, the medical examiner’s office said.
