Marcelino Rivera's mother still clings to the sweatshirt her son was wearing last night.
It's blood-stained and torn through from the bullets that killed him.
"He has a three year old and a baby on the way. He was a caring guy." said Eva Rivera, the victim's aunt
Rivera was killed early this morning -- in a drive-by-shooting at his mother's home.
Today, his family gathered on the porch where he died. On a murder-filled weekend in
Chicago, they were not alone in their grief.
From late Saturday to early this morning: six people were shot and killed across Chicago.
Two were killed in a shooting at 1100 North Kildare.
A drive-by shooting in west town left a man dead at 900 W. Lake.
In the Pullman neighborhood, a man was shot dead at 900 E. 104th.
"He was halfway gone already. His pulse was fading in and out." Said Sarra Floyd, the victim's fiancée.
And Sarra Floyd tried to revive her fiancée as he lay in the street at 105th and Indiana.
She had a 14 month-old daughter with Demond Stansbury and was planning a wedding.
But a drive by shooter opened fire on a family gathering. Stansbury was killed, two others badly hurt.
Now Sarra has to explain to her daughter why daddy isn't around.
"I know it's going to hurt because she's asking for him, but I'm going to have to get through it. I got family and friends behind me and everything like that." Said Sarra.
