Man Arrested for Trying to Smuggle Frozen Pizza in Pants

Chicago - An Olympia Fields man was charged with retail theft after he stuffed a frozen pizza down his pants and tried to leave without paying at Wal-Mart, 4005 168th Place, Country Club Hills, police said.

Branden Martin, 19, of 20516 Kedzie Ave., was arrested Nov. 21 at the store. A background check found that he also was wanted on two warrants, police said.

Police said another teen, David Banks, 19, of 16953 Glen Oaks Drive in Country Club Hills, was arrested with Martin and also charged with retail theft after he tried to leave the store with several DVDs stuffed down his pants.
