Mayor Daley is happy with Police Superintendent Jody Weis' meeting with gang leaders.

"It's a good concept," said Daley. "Listen, if you lost a son to gunfire, you'd sit down with anyone. If you'd save one life, you would sit down."

Aldermen are split on whether this is a good idea. Ald. Willie Cochran (20th) and Ald. Joe Moore (49th) joined us live.
