Drew Peterson made an apparent slip Thursday morning on "Good Day Chicago" when he revealed to Jan Jeffcoat that he tells his children their mom, Stacy Peterson, was on vacation and never coming back. That's when Jeffcoat asked him the question, "Why do you say never?" He first said he didn't say that but later said it was a slip of the tongue.
Peterson--a suspect in the death of Kathleen Savio, his third wife, and in the disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy--was on "Good Day" to talk about the wrongful death lawsuit filed against him by the Savio family. Peterson says the suit is motivated by greed.
Savio was found drowned in an empty bathtub and authorities later changed the cause of death from accidental to homicide. Peterson's fourth wife, Stacy, disappeared as she was about to leave him. She has been gone for more than a year.
Asked why he keeps attracting young women, he said he didn't know, allowing it might be all the publicity. However, he blamed intense media interest for killing these relations.
