Organ Donation Among African Americans

Chicago, IL. - Here's a sobering statistic...about 40% of those waiting for an organ transplant are African American. While the community is disproportionately represented on organ donor lists. As Nancy Pender reports, the Salem Baptist Church is trying to close that gap with an annual telethon aimed at getting more African American to become organ donors.
