Two exciting, brand new family-owned businesses are opening at the beginning of March, right in the heart of downtown Barrington IL, and we are starting to hire for ALL positions!

McGonigal's Pub will feature a traditional Victorian style Irish Pub setting with a warm, fun and inviting atmosphere. Great food, plenty of drinks, entertainment and live music will be a mainstay of the establishment. Our second level will be ideal for additional pub patrons, family dining, and can be used exclusively for all types of special events. Our full kitchen will be open for lunch and dinner seven days a week.

Park Avenue Wine Bar & Merchant will be a distinctive destination for wine enthusiasts throughout the Chicagoland area. Park Avenue’s wine bar will feature an extensive selection of wines and other libations in a chic, comfortable bar setting. Patrons can enjoy a full menu of carefully crafted food that complements their wine choices. In addition, Park Avenue’s retail selection will provide shoppers with a dazzling array of fine wines and liquor available for purchase.

Though in two separate buildings, both businesses are internally connected and share many commonalities (kitchen, restrooms, banquet space, etc). This is a truly unique venture that will be tremendously successful, as there is nothing else like it in our region!

We are looking for full-time and part-time help on ALL LEVELS of bar/restaurant employment with the exception of an executive chef and primary managers. We will officially start accepting applications for employment on January 28th and would encourage anyone who is interested to meet with our staff on the following dates:
Thursday January 28 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Saturday January 30 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
If fro some reason you cannot make either of these dates, please be sure to apply IN PERSON during the week of February 1st (Monday-Friday) as we will be making our final decisions the following week.
