ST. LOUIS (AP) - Defenseman Barret Jackman scored on a drive through traffic, giving the St. Louis Blues their second straight 4-3 overtime victory over the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday for a 2-0 series lead against the defending Stanley Cup champions. St. Louis rallied after Chicago defenseman Brent Seabrook received a five-minute major and game misconduct penalty for a vicious elbow to the head on Blues captain David Backes, who had to be helped off the ice and did not return for overtime.

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - Colby Lewis pitched into the sixth inning and the Texas Rangers beat the Chicago White Sox 6-3 on Saturday night. Jose Quintana allowed five runs and nine hits over five innings in Arlington.

CHICAGO (AP) - Darwin Barney and Welington Castillo hit two-run homers and Mike Olt added a solo shot as the Chicago Cubs broke out of a weeklong offensive funk and beat the Cincinnati Reds 8-4 Saturday. Since scoring four times last Sunday in St. Louis, the Cubs had managed just one run before beating the Reds. Cincinnati had won 16 of the last 17 at Wrigley Field.

WASHINGTON (AP) - Lance Lynn won his fourth straight start and the St. Louis Cardinals topped the Nationals 4-3 Saturday. Tony Cruz drove in two runs for the Cardinals, who have won nine of the last 10 games between the teams. St. Louis took control with a three-run second inning fueled by third baseman Anthony Rendon's throwing error.
