DETROIT (AP) - Jose Abreu and Adam Dunn both homered Tuesday night as the Chicago White Sox routed the Detroit Tigers 11-4. Alexei Ramirez added a three-run double as part of a seven-run seventh inning. Jose Quintana got the victory for Chicago and Anibal Sanchez took the loss for Detroit.

CHICAGO (AP) - Catcher John Baker scored the winning run in the bottom of the 16th inning to give the Chicago Cubs a 4-3 win over the Colorado Rockies in a game that didn't end until early Wednesday. Baker also got the victory after pitching a scoreless top half of the 16th. The game lasted 6 hours, 27 minutes, a record for longest game by time for both teams.

SAN DIEGO (AP) - All-Star Tyson Ross and the San Diego Padres topped the St. Louis Cardinals 3-1 on Tuesday night. Ross won his third straight start by holding the Cardinals to one run and four hits in six innings. Kolten Wong drove in St. Louis' only run with a sacrifice fly in the fifth.

SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Kayla McBride scored 16 points to lead the San Antonio Stars past the Chicago Sky 92-74 on Tuesday night. Danielle Adams added 14 points and Sophia Young-Malcolm had 12 for the Stars. Epiphanny Prince led the Sky with 23 points.
